Where to Drink and Network After Web Summit in Lisbon

Web Summit fills your days with talks, booths and back-to-back meetings, but everyone who has been knows the truth: the real connections happen after hours, over a drink. Night Summit turns the whole of Lisbon into a networking floor once the arena empties. So here is where to go for a drink and actually talk to people after Web Summit, starting with the one spot that turns networking into an experience, the river at sunset.

The best spot: a networking sunset on the Tagus

During Web Summit week, from 9 to 12 November 2026, Sardinha do Tejo runs sunset cruises dedicated to networking, every day, before and after the conference days. Two boats, two moods, both leaving in time to catch the sunset over Lisbon and get you back for the evening's Night Summit events. The Catamaran at 4:30pm, for real conversation

The Catamaran is the more exclusive, intimate option, and that is exactly why it works so well for networking. The historic three-deck EVORA is the more social option: great for talking business as the sun goes down, and then for loosening the tie and taking a few steps on the dance floor as the mood lifts. Both are a quick ride from the Web Summit venue: around 15 minutes by taxi straight down the riverfront from Parque das Nações, or a short metro hop. And unlike a crowded bar, a boat gives you a shared experience and a view that breaks the ice for you.

Other places to network after Web Summit

Night Summit. The conference's own after-hours programme spreads across bars and restaurants all over the city. Check the Web Summit app for the sector nights most relevant to you, they are the most efficient networking of the week.

Cais do Sodré and Pink Street. Lisbon's nightlife hub, walkable and packed with bars, a classic late-night crawl. The area around Pensão Amor is always busy during Web Summit and easy to meet people in.
